There was also a broadband version from a company called tele2. Some time
before cable, & a long time before ADSL, I applied & had it installed, for
them to be unable to get a line of sight to their transmitter.
Ionica suffered similar problems. Anyone who had it installed in the winter,
could easily lose service when the leaves on the trees came out.
Nevertheless, it was an awesome product - distinctive rings, extra lines &
very inexpensive.
They made a massive mistake - they reduced their credit score threshold to
increase customer numbers and were also installing equipment that cost
hundreds for nothing.
