I know it makes no financial sense, but someone listed an 0845 number which
could call 0870 numbers here last year. If they are still in business (as
noted, I question this business model), Id be real interested in it.

There was one listed which did that - the company was
www.telediscount.co.uk.

However, that method of calling 0870 numbers is no longer available.

It was good while it lasted - it even allowed its own 0870 access number
to be called, so you could daisychain the numbers to call 0870 locations
at 0845 rates!
