Can people suggest the cheapest ways I can set up for my son to keep in
touch with his girlfriend please.

Shes just gone to Uni and is staying in Halls of Residence with an
0870 numbered telephone in her room. She has an Orange mobile. I dont
know what the outgoing costs are for her making calls.

We have a BT line and an NTL line. I have Onetel CPS on the BT line. I
also have a 18866 account. We have Talkshare 200 on Orange.

In the Name of Love - thanks people. :)

One thing you could do is sign up to 3u Telecom who allow calls to 0870
numbers at their standard National rate of 2ppm peak / 1ppm off peak, no
connection charge and calls charged by the second.

Get one of the deals at www.talkworldonline.co.uk

If 200 mins on OVP anytime 200 isnt enough then I would suggest that she
changes her mobile to one with pleanty of mins to landlines. Also remember
that after six months you can change down to OVP Freetime 750 which includes
750 mins to landlines or orange phones.

None of which much use to be honest, a mobile cashback deal with a cheap
handset for your son is probably the best thing (with the advantage of being
able to call at any time and not blocking a landline).

Theres always MSN messenger - thats how I speak to most of my friends at
uni. That said I also have millions of free mins as well to call people
with.
