Are there any issues around having more than one caller ID unit on a
single line?

I have 3 units: a standard phone with display, BT 1100 DECT and a
separate BT ID unit. No other phones on the system.

The separate BT unit rarely shows the CLI when all phones are plugged
in, but is OK if the others are removed.

Is it just a faulty unit, or is CDS only intended for a single unit?

Mine work OK with four separate phones each with CLID.

I cant find the instructions for my original CD50s now, but they
do impose a loading on the line (quite separate from the REN), and
it said you could use up to 4 CD50s. I guess other caller display
apparatus may have different loadings.
