Is it still possible to get separate Caller Display units?
With my declining eyesight I cant read the number on my DECT phone without
my reading glasses.
A friend has one with a large screen and memory to correlate names and
numbers, but it seems that his model is no longer made.

Yes, apparently. Not sure you can store names etc.

I got my last one (not that big, mind) off eBay.

Wonder how easy it would be to build one?

Some of the stand-alone units Ive seen have had quite poor memory
capacity.

Id like a unit which holds something 200 numbers. ISTR there was a US
model which also logged the outgoing calls too. Handy.

My local pound shop had a Cable and Wireless unit on sale recently.
I will check if they still have them.
