Hi There,
Does anyone know of a wifi phone with the following features:
- work on the 802.11 network in my house
- can also dial out on either of two existing landlines
- can intercom between handsets
- has voicemail that can send msgs via email
- has an internet browser and e-mail inbox on the handset

I am guessing one would also need some box that plugs into my router
and into the two landlines which goes with this. This might also house
the voicemail. Is this sold separately or is there one system which
has both handsets and this box ?
Thanks,
Tolga

Well, perhaps some of those things, not entirely a WiFi solution
though.
A set of standard cordless phones, connected to an ATA (such as
Linksys SPA-3102) , would allow connection to a voip line and a PSTN
line - thus 2 lines but one is voip. Voicemail and all the other
services are standard with voip.
An intercom facility, between handsets, is common on a set of standard
DECT cordless phones.

Additionally it would be possible to use a mobile phone that has WiFi
on it. That would also have browsing and email capabilities.
If you then had a cordless system, as described above, you would be
able to call the extension number of any phone on the system both
internally and externally.

There are various possible permutations/variations of the above.
More info via
uk.telecom.voip
if you want to pursue voip.
Of course, with voip, you can even have an Asterisk exchange and
achieve all sorts of things.
