Yes there is without the answerering machine - A Disty Duo - But it
traps all * and # keys for itself. Whereever they are in the dial
string. How dumb is that? :-( Panasonic make one but as far as I
could find out it is USA only. Some of us on here have the opposite -
A Siemens S450IP - one PSTN and 6 VOIP. There is a version of that
with answering function but I cant recall the number offhand.

The Siemens S450IP was on offer at Tesco last week.

Would buy one, but am not sure if it is locked to Tescos VOIP service, or
whether it can be used with my ISPs service.

Anyone bought one from Tesco and used it with another SIP service?

Thanks Phil

Old protocols never die. They just get migrated over TCP/IP.

Given that they can register up to 6 SIP accounts I doubt they are
locked. You may need the latest firmware upgrade.

Unfortunately the Tesco ones only allow one SIP account, which is
locked to Tesco.

Thanks for that, my ISP give me 250 minutes of VOIP calls to 01/02
numbers a month, and one of these looked like a good way to use them.

Will have to wait until I get an N95 in June.

Yes, the bas estation is locked, but the handsets will work fine with
a standard Gigaset and seem to be a good price at the moment.
