VoIPBuster works anywhere in the world you have a broadband connection.

Though there are many of the Betamax VoIP services each offering differing
rates.

If you are wanting a landline (as distinct from a total VoIP solution)
you could set up your own callback system with Voxalot.
Australia landline to UK landline could then cost 6p/call if you
choose the right providers. The disadvantage is that you need to have
a link to the Voxalot site, via a computer or a mobile phone, to
activate the call. Unfortunately, from my investigations so far, it
seems impossible to get a Net connected phone on Pre Paid in
Australia. They are waaay behind the times and are 16th in the charts
of world broadband speed stakes. My opinion: So much for the Howard
government and how they have allowed Telstra to get away with their
anti-competitive business practices. Telstra, unsurprisingly, are
behaving rather like BT did before Openreach.....I could go on....
